I feel like traveling on...

♪♫ God's been so good...to me on the journey...he's blessed me with friends...and a family so dear....a humble place to reside....and food on my table...but somehow I can not...oh...feel at home here ♪♫

The Lord has been so good to us!!  I'm just amazed at his grace!!  I'm trusting that the Lord will provide our support very quickly...even though there are so many churches out there struggling financially, there are still many churches who's faith in God to provide not just for their needs, but to provide for the missionaries that there churches support.

I always wondered why God would call so many missionaries to go to different mission fields, and not provide their way there. But He does! God calls men and women that He has chosen to go...other's He calls to stay and help the one's who are going.  But more often than not, the one's that stay are not doing their part in missions.  Doesn't the Lord honor faith.  What about all those that our Lord Jesus told "thy faith has made thee whole", or at times he was astonished at the faith of some because of there faith in Him!  The scripture says it is impossible to please God without faith, and whatsoever is not of faith is sin.  You can't even get saved without faith. I believe God honors those that trust Him and have faith in him.  He even counted Abraham's faith as righteousness. Because Abraham believe that God would keep His promise that he would have seed, as many as the stars in the sky, even if He had to raise Issac from the dead. That kind of faith is rarely seen these days.  I don't think that the saints of God are lacking a desire to help with missions, but they lack in faith.  (I am speaking of myself also).  Faith in all things, not just in missions giving, but in every part of our life's.  I guess, it's just harder with money, to let it go.  Were so materialistic.  We want to have a nest egg, we want to be comfortable and not live from paycheck to paycheck.

What what about our eternal nest egg?  What are we storing up there?  hmm....it gives us something to think about.  I always like to go back to the widow women that gave all her living with just 2 mites.  Jesus saw all these people give gold and precious jewels and said nothing, for He knew they were giving from there abundance.  She gave of her need and she was noticed by the King of the world. Not just noticed, but He told His disciples to look.  Who is Jesus pointing out now?  Is He telling the Father, "Look Father, look at that one, they gave of there need to help fulfill your will.  I believe we need to add something to their heavenly account".  If you were to travel on, how much would you have waiting on you?
